Bangrak runs along the southern shore of Big Buddha Bay for just under 3 kilometers from the Ferry Pier to the headland before Fisherman’s Village. The Eastern end is close to Big Buddha and the fresh food market across the bridge in Plai Laem. There are many restaurants and hotels situated along both sides of the road as well as numerous bars and shops. Sports fans are well catered for with The Premier Sports bar and The Doghouse showing most live sports events on big screens. There is the usual selection of 7-11 and Family Mart and Tesco Express convenience stores. There are a few Bank Exchange booths but no main bank branches.
Ferries run from the Pier at the eastern end and provide services to the nearby islands. Many boats also leave from the small piers along the beach to the regular Full Moon Parties on Koh Phangan. The airport is close by with arrivals 10 minutes and departures 15 minutes away.
Petcharat Marina is the only fully licenced private pier in Bangrak and provides docking facilities along its 128 metre pier together with a slip allowing boats to be launched from trailers.
The buildings extend to some 1,252 sqm on two floors including nine offices on the ground floor, two of which are used by management, the remaining seven are let on income producing leases including a bank exchange booth on the street. There is a fully fitted Kitchen, reception office and large public area.
