Taling Ngam is situated on the west coast some eight kilometres south of Nathon. A relatively quiet area but ideally situated to enjoy the sunsets to the west over the Five Islands and watch the ferries running between the mainland and the island. Few restaurants but these include “The Five Islands” on the beach and the recently renovated Intercontinental Hotel. Allow a minimum of 45 minutes to the Airport and 15 minutes to the Ferry Port in Nathon.
A gently sloping piece of land on the south-west of the island with excellent sea views across Taling Ngam and to the Angthong Marine Park.
This area lies in Zone 1.6 of the The Koh Samui, City Planning Ministerial Regulation BE 2549.
Zone numbers 1.1 to 1.20 are low-density residential areas. And land in these zones shall be used mainly for residential and tourism purposes
It also lies within Zone 3.3 of the Environmental Regulations 2014 which restrict development between 80 and 140 m above sea level. The land is approximately 130 m above sea level.
