The southern shores of the island, little developed compared the remainder of Samui but there are a few residential properties and some quite expensive beach front villas in this area. Beaches are sandy with the sea being very shallow for some distance. Laem Sor Pagoda on the beach at the end of Laem Sor Road is worth a visit.
