Bangrak runs along the southern shore of Big Buddha Bay for just under 3 kilometers from the Ferry Pier to the headland before Fisherman’s Village. The Eastern end is close to Big Buddha and the fresh food market across the bridge in Plai Laem. There are many restaurants and hotels situated along both sides of the road as well as numerous bars and shops. Sports fans are well catered for with The Premier Sports bar and The Office showing most live sports events on big screens. There is the usual selection of 7-11 and Family Mart convenience store joined recently by Tesco Express. Another popular supermarket is PP in the centre which stocks a wide range of goods not always available elsewhere and a good selection of wines.
